#Selfie

The project I am showing you today is called #Selfie. This was group project between me and my friend Chelsea. we wanted to show how much selfies and society are changing the way we see our body image. As many of you know already, I am very big on body image. I do a lot of personal projects about helping people bring up how they see each other. This video is my first video that I have edited mostly by myself. Not because Chelsea was not around, but because i was having too much fun doing it! We worked together in all aspects of this project.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much fun as we had producing it! below I will post the video, and a special thanks to everyone involved in this video, and the ones who made it happen!   links to their profiles will be below!  Thanks for watching!

BTS Cinemagraph

A few weeks ago, I got together with three fellow friends and photographers to do a cinemagraph. (check last blog post to read about it!)

A behind the scenes video is just what it sounds like. a video to see what all went in to making this cinemagraph happen.

Below is the behind the scenes of the cinemagraph that we came up with, this video could be shorter, but we wanted to show all the great moments we had making this, including our silly moments! also, the ending cinemagraph is another version in the video to help with variety of our ideas!

Hope you liked it! here are the names and links to everyone in my group!

Cinemagraph

A few weeks ago, I got together with three fellow friends and photographers to do a cinemagraph. I have done a few using the flixel app of my phone, but never to this extent.

A cinemagraph is  a collection of photos turned into a very short movie by making them into an animated gif. but the key is that the majority of the image is a still photo,  because usually only one aspect is moving.I like them because there is more creativity options for photographers, as well as the making a surprise for the viewer as they realize the image is moving.

Below is the cinemagraph that we came up with, pay very close attention to the window behind her! below are also the names and websites of our group! Keep looking out for the behind the scenes video to come soon!

Time Lapse

Sorry I am about a month late posting this blog! It’s been a crazzzy month! But also so much fun and I cannot wait to tell yinz about it! Keep looking for my posts to hear about it!

A time lapse is made when a camera takes a sequence of images with an interval of time between each image. The interval can be anything from less than a second to a day or more. When the images are played back the interval of time is sped up, showing how much the world changes. The most common examples of time lapses are of clouds, stars, and cities.

In a group project, two fellow friends and photographers tried our hands at a time lapse below are the results of our time lapse in downtown Pittsburgh of a street corner during lunch hour. Enjoy! Below there will also be links to the other photographer's websites! Feel free to check them out!
