A few weeks ago a few fellow photographers and I got the chance to help out another non- profit organization called Hope Grows. Hope Grows's mission statement is " to restore the lives of those impacted by the role of caregiver and to inspire wellness of mind, body, and spirit through the use of counseling, education, overnight retreats, supportive services, and healing and restorative gardens." For this event, they had a Victorian Tea Party, and had some people come in to talk about yoga, and yoga poses to help relax the body. Another cool aspect of this event was that for each person in the room, they made a place card with your name, what it meant, and what flower corresponded with it. (See mine below).
