Over the July fourth weekend I experimented with slow motion video. Since I don’t usually shoot slow motion, I thought it might be a good exercise for me. I used my iPhone, as well as my DSLR (Nikon D810) to capture video, and slow motion videos. I experimented with colored smoke bombs among other fireworks to study the patterns of smoke for a future project in the works! I took the videos into a few apps and sped the videos up and down until I thought they were perfect for looking at patterns. Below are some of my favorite images, and videos from the night.
